Market Street has added another health and beauty “must” as Glo Sun Spa, a luxury tanning and skin-care salon, has opened.

Located along the Market Walk next to Massage Envy, Glo Sun Spa features the latest technology for indoor tanning and spa-quality skin care products with treatments such as the VersaSpa and Lumiere Light Therapy, a Hydration Station and more. Tanning packages range from $39 - $89 per month. Glo Sun Spa is open Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Jan Charouz scored points on both races of the World Series by Renault in Belgium

Jan Charouz managed to follow his eighth place from race 1 with another top 10 finish in the second race of the World Series by Renault 3.5 at Spa- Francorchamps which took place in the wet on Sunday. He fought out another two points thanks to the ninth place. Walter Grubmuller Jr. with second P1 Motorsport car finished 18th on Sunday.

The prospect of instituting a paid parking plan in the city in 2010 suffered a serious setback Tuesday afternoon.

A 12-member advisory committee charged with forwarding its recommendation about a paid parking plan to the City Council voted to not accept any of the four proposals received from parking management companies vying for the job.
